1/ CAPTAIN'S COMMENT 

Lads, 

A great result on Saturday and another "W" in the league.  Away to Cosby is always a difficult fixture and it was excellent to repeat last years result and beat them on their own cabbage patch.

A very cold day, and the 3rd's team just about held together with a sprinkling of Colts, who all stood up to the mark and playes some superb rugby at times.

 The 2nd half performance saw the majority of the possession and territory come Bossy's way.  Some great work in the forwards saw Cosby's set piece come under increasing pressure, and when we spun the ball wide and played 2nd and 3rd phase rugby we looked very dangerous!

It's Loughborough away next week, lets try and ensure we end the year with another win and look forward to the league return legs!

2/ Training

I think we have had as good a pre season training as last year (if not better) and feel we have a good level of fitness.  As the season develops it is imporatnt that we continue our match fitness, ball handling and physical preparation. 

Therefore it is important that we all get down the club on a Tuesday night to run through our game.  Therefore can you all please make the effort and get the message around so we can ensure we have another competitive season.

3/ Membership/Finances

Subs are now due!  £60 and MUST be paid over the next couple of weeks.  Tref is on the hunt so ensure payments are made a.s.a.p.
