1/ EX-CAPTAIN'S COMMENT 

Well the time has come to hand over the the responsibilities for the new season of 08/09.  C'mon my lovely boys!

I was awaiting until after the AGM to announce this formally but due to the AGM being put back until the 9 JULY due to the accounts not being prepared I feel it is appropriate to do so now.

Your captain for this season is Damian Prior.  This is a fantastic appointment and one I know the club will approve as you all will. 

With Damian we have re-created the Manager role.  Deano' will be undertaking this role so be prepared.  I'm a pussy cat compared to Deano' so make sure your fit, committed and ready to go or face not being picked!

Just to have those two names looking after Bos 3's suggested the strength and depth we have.  None of us are green and we know the score.  Lets look forward to a new season and remain the great group of friends and family we all are.  We will then enjoy playing and working together.

Also, thanks very much for the canvas picture.  It's magic!  I am still lost for words!  I've just got to find a way to hang it now.

2/ Training

Having touched base with both Damo and Deano.  I suggest we start training on Tues 24 June at 7pm then considering an hour on Saturday mornings for circuits at 11am.

How does that sound as if that's no good for you boys there's no point doing it?  We will join up with the whole club then and we will get more out of it, especially pre-season wise.

Remember, the amount of times we said last season, the difference between us and other sides were that they trained together.  This was especially noticable against Coalville who we lost home and away against.
