You What !!
Cant hear a freaking thing in my left ear, Doctor said been bleeding onto my ear drum and stopped it vibrating ! It should be OK in a couple of weeks and no lasting damage just on antibiotics to stop any infection. I asked if ok to play this weekend he just through his arms up in the air, so I took that as a yes ! Good result in the end on Saturday with some great work by forwards in set play and loose. The young Lad Dave who was proping infront of me was as strong as an ox in the scrums, their prop was in the air for much of the match ! all the colts played very well so thanks a lot to them ! Still need to be a little bit sharper in defence but on the whole after a very shaky start we are starting to play at the standard we were at last season.

Deaf as a post
Jase never listens anyway. as for a bit of brain damage, who would notice

Back to you
Who rattled your cage Deano !! hope all is well in the land of the haggis munchers. Brain damage is a definate after 20 odd years playing but whats your excuse ? you only play the odd game and then pull a muscle or hurt a joint nobody has ever heard about (ie rotor motion sensor abdominal hamstring) or similar shit ! you are made of glass just like Horwell, Although I am now considering wearing a scrum hat to protect my looks

Jase disalluioned
Jase hate to say it too late for your looks

What looks
Sorry Jase but you missed the boat on that one.Scotland is great but bloody cold. I offered my services to coach one of the local sides, but they said what do the english know about Rugby. They have a point at the moment.

Scrum Hats Rock. Fact.
Posted by ming

If you took your scrum (hence scrum...forwards) cap off you pancy of a back that wouldn't know a ruck if it flew over him you might see your coleagues outside you who may want the pill from time to time. And as for energy, i never had a problem reaching the play except when you go on your rediculous maizy runs....oh shit that's all the time you penis!!!

happy christmas
Have a good one everyone and all the best for 2009 ... see you all in the new year. ps. Tom - send my best to Andy if you go and see/text him, i know a few of the first team lads have been to see him earlier this month, after they heard he was still in a pretty bad way, here's hoping he can make a good recovery over the next few weeks and be back playing again as soon as possible.

Dont think andy will be back playing again at the moment for a while it looked like he would loose use of leg. I only think a couple of the first team have been to see him however their is talk of the players making a donation through a fund raiser as he is one of our own and we must support it as this could have been one of us! Hope you all have a good xmas and newyear.. the first game back is coalville on the 3rd of January

Tug of war at Bosworth Show (July)
Hi guys, As you may know i'm involved in organising Bosowrth Show (this year Sunday July 5th) and we will be holding a tug of war competition...just wondered if Bosworth 3rds wanted to enter? I am sure, althought to be confirmed, that the winning prize will be a vast quantity of beer. Anyone up for this? Burton

Posted by whitters

See you ALL next tuesday
Lads, it's been some time since the last bit of banter on the website ... Anyhow a few of us went training last night - there is a new conditioning coach in charge who means business. Really good session, that if they continue we'll be fitter than the marines by the end of the season. Nothing that will kill you - but you will feel the benefit by the first game of the season - If Trev Payne can do it at 157 years of age then the rest of us can. It is worth it i assure you - although your thighs might not think so the next morning! 7.20 start for an hour.
