Loughborough 2nds 13 Mkt Bosworth 3rds 39
What a match, powerful forwards fast and skilful backs.
No I am not talking about England V France I am talking about Bos V Loughborough. The first scrum proved to be the decisive Moment of the game. As soon as the packs engaged Loughborough knew they were in for a long afternoon. This was when the first try was scored. With the front five comprising of Tom Kilburn, Iain Martin, Dean Huckle, and Jase Poole and newly converted second row Matt Horwell power was the key! It could be said that the Loughborough pack went back so fast they were lucky they didn’t get a speeding ticket. This platform gave the back row of Damien Prior, Andy Vickers and Nick Marr freedom to hunt as a unit. Scrum half Scott Evans had a far more easy ride than he did against Coaville and with most of the possession coming Bos way he released John Dams, Whitters, Bubble, Dan Hern, Matt Frost and Moley to do their destructive best. True the line outs where not brilliant but with out a recognised line out jumper they were not going to be! I also have it from a very good source that Loughborough did not think this was our 3rd XV and the team was packed full of ringers in the forwards and backs. This is the best compliment they could have paid us
This is without question one of the best games I have played for Bosworth, Well done lads.

Well the bunch of merceneries went down to Warwick bleery eyed and did the job.
3 from Adam, 1 one the dominating Buckle, 1 60 metre run from Mike and 1 from Deano' set up a great afternoon in the bar watching the England game.
I thought everyone did their jobs well especially under the circumstances and the backs showed what they could do with a solid platform set up by the forwards. I t was a 15 man game with Adam and Chris really shining. The back row were everywhere, line-out was formidable and scrumaging was never in doubt. One special mention for Danny Hern whose performance deserved a try.
