Scores?

Lads, can someone cast their mind back to the
Leicester Forest and Hinckley games and remeber
the scores?

The scores on the Leics RFU website say we wone
against Leicester Forest 37-7, whereas I've got
the score 38-7.

Also against Hinckley, I thought we lost about 18-
11, whereas Leics RFU website states 27-11.

Are these right?

First win of the season!

Lads,

First of all a big "thank you" to all the players
that made it down on Saturday and made my first
game a skipper such a good one. It was great to
start with a "W" and considering their
numbers/squad I thought the end result was a
fantastic start to the season. It was also nice
to see some new faces and some competition for
selection! I thought everyone played very well,
our defense overall was pretty good and that our
pre-season fitness really showed. We certainly
seemed to start where we left off last season.

That said, we musn't get complacent. Some tough
matches coming up and still plenty of areas for
improvement, so lets all get down to training and
get ready for Melton!

Damo.

Training!!!

Lads,

At last week's training we hooked up with Richie
and the 1st and 2nd teams. I thought the session
was very good overall and benefited the 3rd team
(no one disgraced themselves and our level of
fitness was unsuprisingly very good). Some good
fitness, ball handling and game play techniques
from Richie. Now I know that this is not
eveyone's ideal, but I think over the coming few
weeks it will benefit the team (and the club)
overall if we do the same.

Let me know what you think! This is your club,
your team, your website and if we all agree we
can change the sessions to suit.

Next Seasons Matches

to answer Tims question these are the teams we
will be playing next season.
Leics lions 3s, South 3s, Cosby, Hinckley
3s,Coalville 2nds, Loughborough 3s and Forrest
2nds. Loughborough 2nds have joined Notts,Lincs
and Derby 2nd team league. I think they need to
work out which county Loughborough is in? last
time i looked it was in Leicestershire.
